Advanced Diagnostic Options
for Medical & Dental Pet Care

Veterinary Radiology

Vaughn Road Veterinary Clinic offers diagnostic radiology with a variety of options through our collaboration with our sister practice, Carriage Hills Animal Hospital.

Radiology for Pet Medical Care

Veterinary radiology is used to evaluate illness or injury in pets. X-rays offer a view of the cardiopulmonary, musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, urinary, and reproductive systems. Our combination of the skilled use of technology with training for expert interpretation leads to the most accurate diagnoses for our patients.

Veterinary Radiology Services

In evaluating veterinary medical problems, a variety of radiographic techniques are used, including contrast cystograms and barium series. X-rays are often used for identifying specific injuries, viewing an ingested object or blockage, or to determine progress in the healing of a broken bone. Dental radiographs help obtain a detailed view during dental evaluations and cleanings or to identify developing problems in the teeth or beneath the gum line.

Digital X-ray Technology

At our Carriage Hills practice, digital X-rays offer the latest in X-ray technology.  With these images, the information is digitized to view on a computer screen.  This allows us to zoom in or out, isolate specific areas for detail, or even share images with board-certified veterinary specialists.
